Watertight Technology: The leathers of Watertight® products are produced as waterproof. Special chemicals used in the production of leather provide waterproofing without closing the natural pores of the leather. There is a waterproof stamp on the shoes produced from this type of leather, which is used by many distinguished brands in the world. Shoes without this stamp are not guaranteed to be waterproof.
However, Scooter® does not consider this feature sufficient for Watertight® technology. Because the needle holes of the upper seams carry a risk of water penetration, albeit a little. For this reason, Watertight®, membrane and injection technology together with the waterproofing of the leather constitute a complete set of measures.
Membrane Technology: Very special membrane pores have a structure that allows air molecules to pass without passing water molecules. Thanks to this feature, while protecting the foot from water, it allows the foot to breathe and prevents sweating.
Injection Technology: One of the reasons why shoes are waterproof is that the leather and sole are not bonded well and the stitching holes where the sole is sewn from the side and from the bottom. Injection Technology not only prevents water penetration from the sole, but also completes all the measures in the upper material.
In addition, the polyurethane material used in the sole provides lightness and is one of the most resistant materials against abrasion. Since polyurethane is a very good insulation material, it does not pass cold to the feet.
