USE OF POLYESTER Sling
Polyester Sling Definition: They are lightweight, non-damaging materials made of polyester that enable lifting and lowering of loads.
- Straight Lifting: The lifting point for slings will be perpendicular above the center gravity point.
- Lifting the Attachment with a Sling of Equal Length For slings, the lifting point must be vertically above the center gravity point, equally on both sides. In this type of lifting, both slings must be produced from the same raw material.
- çç or Lifting with Four Slings: The lifting points for the slings should be distributed around the center gravity point on the same plane and should be perpendicular.
- Definitely pay attention to the lifting angle. The larger the angle, the lower the sling capacity. 60º Angle above is not allowed
- çç and in four-sling lifting, unbalanced loads are calculated only from the angle in two-sling systems, depending on the largest angle.
- If there are unequal angles in lifting with two slings, the lifting capacity of one sling is taken as basis.
- The slings are fixed to carry their full width
- In no case should the seams of the slings coincide with the hook area or the butt lifting mechanisms.
- Be careful not to damage the label on the sling.
- Instead of one sling for lifting the load, several slings are used. If a sling is to be used, the raw materials must be the same. Flexible slings vary depending on their usage patterns and temperature. For this purpose, the slings are manufactured from the same raw material and the elasticity value is 1-1.5% from 100% polyester slings (PES).
- Polyester sapaan -40º + 100º It is used at a temperature of C.
RECOMMENDATIONS ON THE USE OF POLYESTER SLINGS
Choose a polyester sling with a capacity suitable for your load.
Follow lifting rules and angles.
Loadü lift evenly
Place the sling on the tip of the hook. Do not attach it to the part
Protect your slings against sharp surfaces
Do not make knots
Polyester slings 40º + 100º Use in a temperature environment between C.
Get information from the manufacturer before using in chemical environments.
When applying, eye opening should be 20°. It should not exceed the angle.
Do not use damaged slings
For long-sized materials, use slings at right angles with the help of crossbars.
Only connect slings with recommended fasteners
