The machined aluminum reel bolts directly to the spool for maximum security and consistency. The 7hpb + 1rb high-performance bearing system with precision machine-cut brass pinion gear keeps the reel running smoothly in freshwater and inshore. The machined aluminum 2-tone anodized spool is surrounded by Okuma’s cyclonic flow rotor system, which increases airflow through the ported rotor, shortening dry-out time and minimizing corrosion to the spool. The reel features a multi-disc carbon fiber drag system with hydroblock seals that keep water out and maintain traction.
