Discs containing 3M's patented Trizact™ system are manufactured in a pyramid structure and contain multiple layers of finely graded abrasive mineral particles.
The patterned, precision mineral structure allows Trizact™ abrasives to cut fast and deliver a consistent finish every time. P1000 foam polishing discs for scraping to polish panels before painting. Use P1500 polish sanding discs to remove dust tips and orange peel effect.
Finally, use the P3000 foam disc to remove P1200-P1500 grit sanding scratches before using the 3M™ Perfect-It™ polishing system. Foam disc used in a spot repair system to remove sanding scratches before using the scouring paste. Product Features Thanks to this unique pyramid structure, new mineral is constantly exposed, thus providing equal wear and consistent finish on the entire surface, as well as long life.
Trizact™ P1000 is used to matt panels as an alternative to matting liquid or gel in primer sanding. Trizact™ P1500 abrasive disc is designed to be used as a first step in the surface defect removal process.
After using Trizact™ P1500, we recommend finishing the job with Trizact™ P3000 and P6000, followed by the 3M color-coded polishing system.
