We’re not usually sticklers for rules when it comes to self-care, however there are some pointers to keep in mind to get the best out of your microneedling roller. Use the roller in the evening, starting with cleansed skin. Roll evenly and lightly in small sections, taking care not to re-roll over completed sections. Avoid your lips, nose and eye area, and sanitize the roller after each use. It is normal for your skin to be slightly pink and tender after using, especially in the beginning, however this should settle within 24 hours. Depending on your skin’s tolerance, the microneedling roller can be enjoyed one to three times per week.
